I do miss Lincoln Park. It's a great memory to have of that fun place to go to as a kid. It truly was a place where the whole community could have a recreational place. It was a place where regular working people could go to take their families and have some fun since most weren't going to Disneyland anytime soon. It was a place that gave regular people something to enjoy and do. Too bad the whole region has suffered as much as the rest of the nation where the jobs are gone and so are the places to go out and just have some fun. That place was a part of the heart and soul of the area where play was important. Many of the affordable family parks are gone such as Rocky Point and so on across the whole country. It would be nice to have Lincoln Park back to give regular people a place to go to and just get away if for but a little while.

This is absolutly wonderful. Most of my skating was different than this. Mine was always pror to 1970 and most times included a step where you through your feet in the air, landed on your can, jumped up, dusted off, and repeated withing the next couple of laps around. I do have a pic of my sister in the Rollettes in approx. 1960. My peppe was Tommy, the rent a skate or repair a skate old guy behind the counter down near the snack bar. Your film is very very nice THANKS
