Oh the memories.LP certainly would not measure up by today's standards of the "amusement park" and many would find it boring. But it was OUR park and provided many hours of fun in the 50's through 70's. I remember looking forward to Easter when it would officially open. I lived about a mile away and walked there often with friends. I spent many hours at the roller rink going four days a week: Wed & Thur nights and all day Sat & Sun. Wed night admission to the rink was only a dime!

This was my first roller coaster ride when I was a kid. I think I spent most of the ride with my eyes closed, so this is a way of reliving what I missed.
